About the event
Eagle’s purpose is twofold: 1. To act as a catalyst, empowering leaders to create their own companies. 2. To help leaders develop visions that address and solve pressing problems affecting people. By combining these objectives, Eagle aims to bridge the employment gap between leadership deficits and the world's unsolved challenges.
These ideation sessions are designed to serve as a catalyst for idea creation, fostering innovative thinking and collaboration among visionary leaders.
Our Moderator: Adam Nemer
Adam Nemer is shifting the topic of mental health in the workplace, equipping business leaders with simple tactics to address the mental wellbeing of their teams while improving employee retention, engagement, and productivity. Adam was a CFO and Sr. Operations Executive at Kaiser Permanente for 20 years while also experiencing severe, yet undiagnosed depression and anxiety.
Fortunately, another Kaiser Executive noticed the signs that he might be struggling with his mental wellbeing, encouraged him to get help, and his entire life shifted. As Adam progressed on his recovery journey, he came to the realization that most leaders don’t feel at ease approaching their workers when they observe them grappling with mental health challenges.
So, he started to share his story, and quickly realized that he was making a difference in other people’s lives.
Inspired, Adam founded Simple Mental Health to educate leaders on the business case and inspire them on the human case to put mental health literacy in their leadership toolboxes, and help them normalize the topic of mental health on their teams. Learn more about Adam's experience here.
