Sprint 3: Strategy Development

Introduction

Crafting a Strategy to Tackle the Problem

In Sprint 3, you’ll take your research insights and transform them into a clear, actionable strategy. This sprint will guide you in defining the steps needed to address the problem effectively, ensuring that you’re moving forward with a structured and realistic plan.

Objectives of Sprint 3:

  • Turning insights into strategy provides direction for action

  • Defining clear actions ensures your plan becomes actionable

  • Setting personal goals keeps you accountable and on track

Strategise Based on Research

"How will you approach solving the problem, based on your research?"

Instructions: Take your research findings and start crafting a strategy that builds on what’s already being done while filling any identified gaps. Example: "By partnering with tech companies, I will develop scalable, real-time monitoring tools to measure air quality in urban environments."

Define Your Key Actions

"What specific actions will you take to implement your strategy?"

Instructions: List the primary actions that will help put your strategy into motion. This may include collaborations, resource allocation, or creating a pilot program. Example: "First, I will secure partnerships with three city councils, followed by developing a beta version of the monitoring software."

Set Personal and Measurable Goals

"What personal commitment will you make to ensure your strategy’s success?"

Instructions: Reflect on how much time, energy, or resources you’re willing to dedicate to your project. Set specific, personal goals to keep yourself accountable and motivated. These goals should be measurable and realistic, helping you track your progress over time. Example: "I will dedicate 10% of my time each week to this project and aim to complete the pilot phase within the next three months."
